We were completely enchanted. You turn and suddenly this beautiful old chestnut avenue opens up in front of you. In spring, when the chestnuts start to bloom, it will definitely look great too.

Serrahn's Gothic brick church from 1240; rebuilt in 1872 according to plans by Theodor Krüger and enlarged to a cruciform church; property wall made of brick on a fieldstone foundation with passages as Gothic archways. The church's furnishings include the richly ornamented organ facade from 1740. In the northern side chapel there is a high-quality altarpiece by Karl Gottfried Pfannschmidt from 1873/74.
