At this location, there is an old railway bridge over the Ill River, which now serves as a pedestrian and cyclist bridge. It originally connected the Bürs substation on the other side of the Ill River to the main line running via Bludenz. The tracks of this connection are still there today, but are no longer in use.

St. Mother Anne Parish Church Wald am Arlberg In 1728, a chapel dedicated to St. Anne was built in Wald, laying the foundation for our current parish church. The branch of Dalaas became an outpost in 1737 and was elevated to a parish church in 1941. The church was rebuilt in 1930/1931 according to the plans of the architect Willi Braun, and it was consecrated in 1932.

Mariahilf Chapel on the Glongbach in Wald am Arlberg. Located on the way to the train station. Renovated in 1977. Rectangular building with a sign, gable roof, hipped roof above the choir, bell tower with pointed roof. Prayer room with barrel vault and 2 round-arch windows. Neo-Romanesque. Altar structure with painting of Mary and Child.*

Due to renovation work on the Arlberg Tunnel, the Arlberg Pass road will be closed to cyclists heading up the mountain in summer 2024. To ensure that cyclists can still cross the pass, a bike taxi service has been set up on both sides. The "BIKE-TAXI-ARLBERG" service, which can be booked by phone (+43 676 441 73 50), will transport cyclists to the top of the pass from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. using taxis and bike trailers.
