ホイエルスブルク近郊の旧国境監視塔は、アルトマルクにおけるドイツ分断の最も顕著な遺物の1つです。ザルツヴェーデル（ザクセン＝アンハルト州）とリューショウ（ニーダーザクセン州）の間にある連邦道路B248沿いにあります。この塔はDDRの国境要塞の一部でした。単純な監視塔とは異なり、ホイエルスブルクの建造物は、いわゆる指揮所（FüSt）でした。
