When you come out of the town: At the entrance to the Meyerhof in Oestringen, to the left are the meadows up to the Nette. On the right side it climbs quite steeply, somewhere along the way you will see the ruins of the Wittekindsburg.

European bird sanctuary with rewetted wet grassland, important breeding area for meadow birds and resting area for geese.

Very well-preserved dinosaur tracks. The additional features, including two "real" dinosaurs and numerous information panels, liven things up. Absolutely worth a visit for dinosaur fans of all ages!
