🚴‍♀️🛤️ Münsterland Cycle Route on the section between Ochtrup and Rheine. This section is part of the former Ochtrup–Rheine railway line and is now an excellently developed cycle path connecting the two towns.

I stumbled upon it by chance and really enjoyed the track: you don't necessarily have to go all out

In three well-preserved half-timbered houses in the picturesque town center of Bevergern, centuries-old tools and everyday objects are on display. A short journey back in time. The ensemble is dominated by the remains of an old windmill.

Great rest area. You can take a nice break there.

The railway cycle paths are of course great to ride on.

There aren't that many routes to choose from here, but these long stretches are ideal for targeted training. Good asphalt, little traffic.
