It is the remains of a coral reef from the Zechstein Sea that is about 250 million years old. The rock massif is made up of five rocks or groups of rocks that are close to each other

Nicely hidden in the forest you will find the Römerstein. A path leads to the small summit and since 2021 climbing has even been allowed here again. A bit below the cliff there is a somewhat outdated shelter.
