The tracks have additional "catch rails" on the bridge, colloquially known as fear rails, for catching vehicles that have gone out of control. Catch rails are usually designed as metal profiles running in sections within the running rails of a track. After a derailment, they should stop the wheels of the derailed vehicle and guide them in such a way that it does not veer sideways off the track.
