Always a woow effect for us, unbelievable and beautiful. In the middle of the forest, these sand caves with such great white sand as by the sea....the largest adventure playground in the eastern Harz.

In addition to the sandstone caves and the fortress, the Regensteinmühle is one of the many great highlights here in the region, a visit here is always worthwhile. It is particularly easy to reach via the mule track. A great photo motif and stamping point 82 of the HWN.

One of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz, with many great impressions. The Teufelsmauerstieg runs between Blankenburg (Grandfather Rock) and Ballenstedt (Gegensteine) and is approx. 26 km long. It is worth it!
