Open during the day. 1614 is the oldest date in the history of the pilgrimage site of Our Lady of the Snows. The veneration of the Mother of God was first documented in 1756. The statue of grace also dates from this period. Empress Maria Theresa donated a piece of the cross to the church, which is still in use today.

Here I was once again particularly lucky. A woman from the settlement noticed my interest in the chapel, so we started talking, and she opened the chapel for me. The chapel was built when a fire raged through the settlement in 1961, destroying only one house, exactly on the spot where the chapel was later built.
