Hi, question... is the path easy to walk or are there any dangerous spots? Unfortunately, it's not clear. Thanks.

A wonderful place to take a break. The small chapel with seating and a drinking water spring, which is likely connected to the local drinking water system, invites you to linger in the pleasant shade. The chapel bell hangs in a tree, not on the house. Please don't be tempted to ring it on the rope. That brings bad luck and trouble. Only the priest is allowed to do that.

Of course, there isn't much to see of the Cha Gorge from above. But the hike up here is beautiful, even without spectacular views that make you want to rip :-).

Just beyond the mountain village is a game gate, which is only secured with knotted ropes, making it easy to open. Immediately afterward, there are some rough passages with boulders. Once you've overcome these, you'll be rewarded with a magnificent and untouched mountain landscape along the entire trail ⛰️☀️🤩

Unfortunately the wagon was blocked by two locked gates. Climbing over them was not easy.

The upper part of the Ha Gorge is also worth seeing. Here the gorge is fed by several watercourses, one of which was still running in September. You can follow the river bed from St. Anna Church for almost 800m on an easily walkable hiking trail. Again and again you have impressive views of the crevice that opens up below. It's hard to believe that the tame stream cut such deep gullies into the mountain above.

From just after Monastiraki to just before Thripti it is really a trail, not a road. Beautiful views of mountains, sea and gorge.
