The lords of Quast probably built a stone residential tower in the 13th century, which was used for residential purposes well into the 17th century. With the construction of a new manor house around 1705, the tower lost its importance and was subsequently used primarily as a warehouse. In 1945, the Quast family was expropriated and had already only been able to hold on to parts of the Garz properties. The almost square residential tower with walls up to 1.40 meters thick is made of fieldstone and brick. It is about 11 meters high. On one side there is a polygonal half-timbered stair tower built in 1681. The completely preserved residential tower, which was probably originally surrounded by moats and a palisade, is a unique example of a lower nobility medieval village castle.

The current church was built in 1727 on the basis of an older fieldstone building. It is a hall church with a gable roof and a boarded roof tower with a pointed knick-knack roof.

The listed Vorlaubenhaus at Dorfstr. 4 in Garz was the former village pub.

The village of Vichel, located in a charming landscape on the edge of the Rhinluch, was originally planned as a circular village and has largely retained this original form. The manor house, a representative two-storey plastered building in the style of an Italian country villa, was built in its current form around 1850. At the same time, an impressive landscape park was created behind the manor house, which dates back to a baroque garden. The Quast family had been the patron of Vichel and the surrounding villages since the 15th century.

The current Bantikow Castle dates from 1906. Even before this new building, there was a castle or fortress on the knight's seat of Bantikow, which had existed since the early 14th century. However, this older building no longer existed at the beginning of the 20th century, which is why the new building in the neo-baroque style was built directly on top of the older core. Bantikow Castle is currently a privately run child and youth welfare facility.

The von Bredows were the lords of the Vietznitz manor for many centuries. Originally in one hand, it was gradually divided among several separate families of the Bredow family. Eventually, two shares in the Vietznitz manor were created, one part belonging to the Bredows-Friesacker line and the other part to the Bredows-Landiner line. The Vietznitz manor was owned by the von Bredow family until 1936.
