The bridge has been closed to heavy (motor) vehicles, but you can still get through by bike. Therefore, there is currently little traffic on this section

Attention racing bike: just stay on the road over the motorway bridge --> otherwise after the overpass 200m dirt road

The inn "Zur Post" has a long history and its name dates back to the time when stagecoaches drove daily along the post road from Munich to Mühldorf. Among the guests who stopped off in Hohenlinden on their way through in those bygone times were famous personalities such as the Austrian Emperor Joseph II, Pope Pius VI and the musical genius Ludwig van Beethoven. Good, homely cooking with friendly service. Opening hours have changed, so it's best to call in advance.

This is a nice, fast route and the surface is perfect for cycling. There just shouldn't be any headwind...
