A really impressive castle, with the white facades well maintained and obviously in use, and the yellow house inside looking a bit run down. Hopefully something will happen there. Annaburg is worth a visit. Like everything in the area, it's a relatively isolated area, but it's interesting to see what has already been refurbished and what hasn't. The facades of the house and yard consist of millions of colorful individual parts, of objects such as cups, buttons and garbage. Again and again you discover new intelligent and humorous details, hands that protrude from the wall or bizarre figures that follow you with their eyes. The large, artistically designed garden is also extremely worth seeing. The owner of the castle is happy to guide visitors through his inspiring realm after making an appointment by telephone.

In the traditional, listed castle, working stays for artists and scientists from home and abroad are supported with scholarships. Public events, readings, concerts, colloquia and exhibitions in Wiepersdorf Castle are an invitation to the audience to engage in exciting dialogue about current questions about art, music, literature and humanities.
