Helmut Hohmann has lovingly landscaped his property and created a wonderful and interesting little border museum. A guided tour with him lasts about 1-1.5 hours and is informative and entertaining. Highly recommended. 😀

St. Bartholomew's Church belongs to the Diocese of Fulda. It towers over the town of Hilders and can be seen from almost anywhere. Its tower is crowned by an onion-shaped dome. At the foot of the long flight of steps leading to the church portal is a wayside shrine.
