A somewhat secluded and hidden PWV hut with moderate prices, delicious cakes, and good home-cooked food. Highly recommended!

The Rodalben Tourist Association dedicated this beautiful shelter "in memory and gratitude" to the popular local priest and dean Martin Ehling (May 30, 1956 - May 17, 2014), who died suddenly and unexpectedly shortly before his 58th birthday. An information board describes the various stages of his (spiritual) work.

You can take a nice break at the Teufelshütte. You can also sit on benches outside the hut. I wouldn't enter the Kneipp facility, it's a bit of an eyesore.

The PWV hut managed by the Thaleischweiler-Fröschen local association is located directly on the Steinenschlossweg, which at six kilometers is a pleasant short tour to the nearby ruins of the Steinenschloss. The hut can serve as a starting and ending point, so that after the hike on the circular route you can stop for a bite to eat. A very nice hiking hut of the PWV. It is slightly above Niederauerbach and can also be reached by car. The whole area is lovingly cared for by the club members. It is well suited for drinking, eating or sleeping.

Here you can take a break inside and outside. The dean was a very popular clergyman in Rodalben and must have died quite suddenly and unexpectedly. It's nice when you leave such an impression on people.

Great places to stay. Clean shared rooms. There are six double rooms in the newly built tower. Mine means you're in the hotel. All handicapped accessible.
