The weir branches off the Mahlgera from the Gera. In order to overcome this weir system, there is a fish ladder for fish. The beginning and end are built over with bridges and are easy to reach. Below the weir there is a structured river section with a gravel bank and overhanging trees. A beautiful place for animals and humans.
