It's a shame that nothing of the castle complex remains. An information board has been put up. You can still make out the moat. There is a small barbecue area on site.

A detour to the Kraftstein ruins is definitely worth it. There is a small model of the castle, an information board, a bench and even a small remnant of the wall. The further descent is actually not worth it (see Turbo dated December 27, 2022).

There is not much to see of the former castle. The numerous information boards give you a good insight into the history of Hohenberg Castle. Benches with a great view invite you to linger

The remains of the former Honberg Castle are located high above the city. The two towers have been reconstructed. Every summer there is a 2-week tent festival with a large beer garden and various artists.
