The short climb is definitely worth it. There are several ways to get up. All of them go through loose beech forests and also with sunny sections along the edge of the forest.

The ascent to the Buchberg summit is a bit strenuous but definitely worth it. Fantastic vision, in clear weather up to the Alps.

There are 2 viewpoints here. From one of them you have a beautiful view towards the Alps and at the summit cross you can see the villages down.

Beautiful rustic castle ruins - there is a small parking lot for hikers directly below, so you can be in the ruin in just a few minutes.
