A beautiful view of the Inn

The monastery church is really impressive. Next to the church there is a café and a garden center with public toilets. Dogs are not allowed in the cemetery. The most interesting things about the former monastery church are the cast stone Pietà (ca. 1430) and the choir stalls (ca. 1600). The gilded shrine with the bones of the blessed Kaspar Stanggassinger (d. 1899) is inserted into the "Salzburg Altar". A nicely trampled single trail as a shortcut from Mittergars to Jettenbach. Very rideable in autumn, but in summer with lots of vegetation it might be a bit narrow.🚲🔥

From the path, a meadow trail leads to the edge of the slope, where you can sit on a bench and enjoy the view of Au am Inn and Megling Castle (Stampfl Castle).

After the bike tour, a refreshing swim in the green lagoon, a natural bathing lake

Behind the pizzeria there is a beautiful lake for swimming. That was a great surprise and a welcome way to cool off.
