The view of the slopes with grapes, the river, the white stone villages, the hills, the forests and other ruins and buildings is really wonderful.

A detour is definitely worth it, the way there is easy to walk and the view of the Ahr Valley is simply magnificent. You can quickly lose track of time. I was there for the first time and found the castle complex to be very large. When you think you're already at the top, you go further up.

He sells more than 100 types of spices, by the gram. It is shops like this that give Ahrhutstrasse its special charm. And the houses with tradition, such as the Coels winery. It is the last wine-growing business in the Ahrhutstrasse and yet, or perhaps because of that, it is particularly successful.
