Originally, the monastery garden was surrounded by a wall as part of the enclosure. Our monastery opens its gardens to visitors from near and far. As part of the renovation of the monastery, the gardens were restored as baroque gardens based on reconstructions. During the construction and excavation work, parts of the old cloister wall and the old baroque fountain were found and restored as far as possible. Many fragrant and aromatic plants, kitchen herbs and medicinal plants are scattered throughout the monastery garden and enrich the eye and the senses. See, feel, smell and taste - visitors are invited to let all their senses be touched during herb garden tours.
