Beautiful castle! You could drive into the courtyard, which is very rare.

The climb is a little hidden at first, but then it gets tough straight away. Little traffic and a really tough climb - that's perfect. Compared to the forest path towards Sternplatz, it's much steeper and more nasty, but it also has its advantages.

Beautiful and typical Harz town. A little out of the way, but quiet and beautiful to look at.

The descent is not easy - 2 or 3 tight bends and otherwise speeds of >80 km/h are within the realm of possibility. You have to like it. But it doesn't get much faster in the Harz than on this descent.
