The Berggasthof Kreuzhaus is located in the middle of the Bavarian Forest and is therefore a great place to stop for a hike. You can stop here all year round. If you want, you can even stay overnight in the Kreuzhaus. There is a holiday apartment and four double rooms available. You can find more information at https://kreuzhaus-haibach.de/.

The Green Roof Cycle Path crosses the old Lock Bridge and becomes the Danube-Regen Cycle Path. The surrounding area is highly recommended and extremely beautiful. The name "Green Roof Cycle Path" is telling, but I didn't know that this cycle path extends so far north.
