Legend about the name "Brotjacklriegel": On this mountain, which can be seen from afar, a small, bearded man, Jackl, once found shelter during the Swedish War. In winter, the ascent via the lake and chapel is very difficult. It was exhausting due to drifting snow and no tracks. I would recommend the ascent via Waldschmidthütte.
