The highlight of this tour is the beautiful Plöckenstein Lake, an ideal place for a short rest. The Sumava National Park has set up many tables and benches here. You can also start many beautiful hikes from here. The cycle path ends here, which means you have to turn back.

Definitely a recommendation if you're in the area. The lake is easy to reach. However, a bit of fitness is required on the MTB. There is a hiking trail around the lake, over the ridge. Luckily it is closed to MTB riders.
