広い道を通って「登り」を進むと、禁止標識と仮設の「ゲート」（写真参照）に出くわします。残念ながら、ここで報告されているような山頂のノートは見つかりませんでした。

And there is a summit book like on a "real" mountain.

The Frauenberg Chapel was built by Prince-Bishop Johann Anton II of Freyberg in 1738/1739 and consecrated in 1751. A visit to the interior is worthwhile. Originally, before the chapel existed, there was a statue of the Madonna, which was built in 1720 by Prince-Bishop Johann Anton I of Katzenelnbogen. Legend has it that the statue was carved from an old, completely dried-out tree trunk. This had probably been lying for a long time at the entrance to the court carpenter's workshop at Willibaldsburg when it suddenly sprouted a branch with fresh leaves. From up here you have a good view of Eichstätt, the Altmühl Valley and the Rebdorf Monastery. Accordingly, it is crowded in spring and autumn on sunny days. If you go up there by bike, you need a few grains of energy.

The so-called Eichstätter Matterhorn is probably the highest slag heap in Eichstätt and is clearly visible as it is the only slag heap with a summit cross around Eichstätt. The B Schütt mountain, whose summit is at 574 meters, is probably one of the most striking slag heaps in the Jura. The Matterhorn reflects an important part of Eichstätter's mining and quarrying history. It was initially piled up without permission as part of the mining of limestone on the Jura. Approval was finally granted retrospectively in the early 2000s. From the summit of the Eichstätter "Matterhorn" you can see the Zugspitze massif when the weather is clear.

In the old quarry there are many descents and small trails for mountain biking.

From the Frauenberg you have a very nice view of Eichstätt and the surrounding area, there are various driveways and a visit to the chapel is worthwhile.

The summit cross on the Schellenberg can be easily reached via the demanding Keltensteig near Enkering. The fantastic view rewards the climb, there is also some seating.
