We had a fantastic meal here after a strenuous climb and challenging descent. The food is a bit more expensive (Kaiserschmarn at just under 15 euros), but the portions are adequate and super tasty.

On the Forggensee circuit, the detour to the Hopfensee is worthwhile. Atmospheric alpine scenery, but there are plenty of them here anyway

Fantastic view of the lake and the Alpine panorama. Almost nothing more is possible. Great tour around the lake, highly recommended, worth it.
