A wonderful part of Switzerland. Hardly any traffic or people, and good roads...pure nature!

The Col des Mosses is a mountain pass in the canton of Vaud. It connects Chateau d'Oex with Aigle and is a popular destination for both mountain bikers and road cyclists.

The Mittelberg is a mountain pass near the language border with western Switzerland. To the north, it descends to Abländschen at the foot of the magnificent Gastlosen mountain range, while to the south, the Grischbach Valley awaits. While the pass is paved, there are various trails for mountain bikers to choose from in various directions.

Located at an altitude of 674 metres, Lake Bret is a natural reservoir which supplies the city of Lausanne with drinking water.

After a steep climb on both sides, this place, known to cyclists as "Le Col du Mont Pèlerin" at an altitude of 850m (not to be confused with the summit of Mont Pèlerin (1079m), offers a reward to those who have climbed it in the form of a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains.

Bus stop 'Abländschen, Mittelberg'. The PostBus line was set up to facilitate travel for athletes during the summer period. It serves the Fenils Valley from Saanen, the Mittelberg Pass, Abländschen and Jaun from May 4 to October 27, 2024, including general holidays and bridge days.
