Preferably take the route via Sulzkopf, if you are coming from Gaißach, as the standard route recommended by komoot is very muddy.

There's a well there. The water isn't tested, but there's no guarantee it's safe to drink.

Summit at 1330m above sea level

Great view of Lake Tegernsee and the mountains beyond. A bench and several places to stretch your legs in the meadow.

Nice destination for anyone looking for a summit cross (Almkreuz) without a lot of hustle and bustle. The Alm originally belonged to the Tegernsee monastery and was first mentioned in documents in 1529. The last of the five old Alm buildings was demolished in 2018. The new building that was planned has not yet taken place. The Alm was not in use anyway. Various paths lead up from Bad Wiessee and Finsterwald, some of them are decent climbs with lots of roots. In terms of views, the nearby Hirschberg dominates. Continue to the Nesselscheibe.

The Rechelkopf is the closest Alpine peak from Munich - an inconspicuous, 1330 m high forest crest. On the ascent and on the summit, however, the forests thin out and there are wonderful deep and distant views. At the summit you can see past the Brauneck to the Höllental glacier and the Zugspitze summit.

Often confused with the Heiglkopf cross. However, there are still a few meters and above all meters in altitude to the Heiglkopf!
