Is a nice swimming lake

The Bergkirchner See is an insider tip and impresses with its turquoise water. It may be small, but it offers a lawn for sunbathing, a guest house and beautiful views.

Eisolzrieder See is located about 2.5 km southwest of Bergkirchen, next to the motorway bridge on the community road from Eisolzried towards Bergkirchen-Lus. As part of the development measures for the new GADA commercial area, the area of the lake in the immediate vicinity was expanded. By purchasing additional land, the existing area could be roughly doubled, so that the total area is now approx. 8.9 hectares (water area 3.25 hectares). The good news: At the lakes that the district office samples once a month between May and September - these are the Eisolzrieder See, the Mückensee, the Stadtweiher in Dachau-Süd, the Heiglweiher, the Waldschweigsee, the Birkensee, the Obergrashofer See, the Neuhimmelreicher Lake and Lake Karlsfelder – the water quality is good. A large recreation area was created a few years ago in the south of our community, between Birkenhof and Langwieder See. The initiator is the Association for the Safeguarding of Regional Recreation Areas in the Districts Around Munich e. V., of which the municipality of Bergkirchen is also a member. The Langwieder See and the Lußsee were created during the construction of the A8 and A99 motorways in the years 1935 to 1938 and 1995 to 2000 respectively. The Birkensee was created by removing gravel for the Olching - Trudering freight bypass in 1938. The recultivation measures resulted in a recreational area that leaves almost nothing to be desired.
