Very idyllically situated lake. Worth a visit or at least a detour if you are driving in the region. Great beer garden with a view of the lake.

The Riemer See (also known as the Buga Lake or bathing lake in Riemer Park) is an artificially created bathing lake in the east of Munich as part of the 2005 Federal Garden Show. In the new Munich district of Messestadt Riem, the landscape park planned by the French landscape architect Gilles Vexlard, the Riemer Park, was created . The Riemer See lies in the eastern part of this landscape park. It covers a pure water area of approx. 7.7 hectares and is on average 14 m deep, in a few places up to 18 m. Beautiful, wonderfully located, pure nature, fantastic for walking, highly recommended

Idyllic hamlet with a small pond and the former branch church of St. Ulrich. The existence of the branch church has been documented since 1100. The year of construction of today's chapel has not been handed down exactly, probably from the first half of the 18th century. The chapel is privately owned but can be visited on Memorial Day.

Great Riemer See, lots of loungers and seating, pure relaxation.

The "Zur Gasse" inn offers plenty of food

Nicely located and easy to get around on foot or by bike.

Nice way. Calm. Unfortunately very busy on weekends and public holidays. But nature surpasses that, of course.
