The baroque castle is centrally located in Bruchsal and is simply unique with its various buildings and forecourt, as well as the beautiful castle garden.

Unteröwisheim Castle, also known as Maulbronner Pfleghof or Fronhof, is a former Pfleghof of the Maulbronn Monastery in Unteröwisheim. After the monastery was secularized by Württemberg in 1534, the Pfleghof was expanded into a castle. Today it houses a conference center and the office of the CVJM-Landesverband Baden e.V. The building is now known as the CVJM-Lebenshaus "Schloss Unteröwisheim"

“Old Fishery” became “Castillo del Mar”. Even if the sea is not near us, there is a connection to it. The building is modeled on an old harbor fortress and the Old Fishery, which is also still located in the romantic harbor fortress, supplies the Castillo del Mar with the finest seafood specialties.

The former care yard of the Maulbronn monastery was converted into a palace after secularisation. The complex is now used by the YMCA and is very well maintained. The vaulted cellar (entrance in the tower) can be visited. To the north you will find a small viewing terrace with a bench.
