It's worth stopping by. The food is very good. In spring, the asparagus menu is highly recommended. The asparagus comes from the region (Beelitz asparagus). Those who want to visit on Sundays must reserve a table in advance, as the restaurant is very busy on weekends.

The Springbachmühle first appeared in the files in 1634 as an oil mill and was probably destroyed in the Thirty Years' War, along with the town. Only in 1749 was it mentioned again as a new mill. In 1824, Johann Heinrich Preusse acquired the building and renamed it Preussen Mühle. After only eight years, a fire destroyed the mill. Two years later the building was rebuilt and from 1862 it was converted into a grinding and cutting mill. In the time of the GDR the building fell into disrepair. A family acquired the ensemble in 1997 and set up a restaurant and conference venue on the site.

The former mill is now a hotel and the guest is greeted with many mandatory and prohibition signs.
