Very beautiful buildings.

From up here you have a beautiful view of the Rhine plain and the Palatinate Forest. The meadow path is great for cycling, even when it has just rained.

One of several beautiful lakes here on the Rhine. Overall a great lake landscape with pretty trails and paths for cycling.

The Christmas market takes place on this street in winter and the occasional street festival in summer.

Beautiful, quiet route along the Höninger valley.......starting at the Höninger forest car park, from where there are many hiking/biking opportunities (Lindemannsruhe, Ungeheuersee and much more).

The Treidler is located on the section of the former Frankenthal Canal that is now a listed monument. This connected the Frankenthal harbor with the Rhine for more than 150 years. It was opened to shipping in 1780, used for the last time by a transport ship in 1944, and was partially destroyed in the last days of the Second World War. This bronze sculpture was created by the Frankenthal artist Martin Adam Foeller in 1976 and dedicated to the people who once pulled the canal ships.
