The Alpenhaus is located on the grounds of the Beelitz sanatorium. The guided tour is highly recommended and can be booked online. The guide was great and gave lots of information about life in the sanatoriums.

Yes, from Ferch to the A9 bridge, everything is smooth in many areas of new asphalt. Then direction Beelitz it is really getting worse. Sometimes more what a Fully MTB. You have to be very careful with the RR.
