A great place for a larger group to stop, with a shelter, tables, and plenty of space. The site is known today primarily for the discovery of a Roman grave there in 1959, dating back to the 3rd-4th century AD. The grave was discovered while collecting gravel from a gravel pit located in section 396. Among the finds were human skeletons, pottery shards, and everyday objects. Next to the bridge, you can see the remains of a concrete narrow-gauge railway bridge. The aim of this investment was to exploit the forest by providing transport of cut trees to the sawmill. The construction was started by the Germans in 1916, who occupied these areas. Forced labor was used for the construction – prisoners of war. By the end of World War I, 85 km of tracks had been built and as a result, the Białowieża Forest was devastated :-(

The most beautiful road through the Białowieża Forest with relatively little car traffic.

If you have time, you can visit this water park. It has quite a lot of visitors.

Before the Oak Trail, on the route from Narewka to Białowieża, on the right side there is an old railway bridge over the Łutownia River.

A place for rest and relaxation. There are even dishes (glasses) inside the shelter. There is a place for a bonfire next to it. The shelter is secured with foil, most likely against the wind.
