Beautiful tarred cycle path along the former railway line of the Hochwaldbahn from Ruwer up to Hermeskeil (48km, approx. 500m elevation gain). Very moderate gradients (mostly 1-2%). Lots of bridges and well developed. Ideal for making a detour to Kell am See before Hermeskeil.

The Wendalinus cycle path runs along the former railway line from Sankt Wendel to Tholey. In Tholey you have the opportunity to visit the excavation site museum and the abbey.
