Sculpture park, benches in the sun, fountain for refreshment - nice 🤩

Rheinstraße is almost 2km long. From Darmstadt's landmark, the "Langem Ludwig" (Long Ludwig), or "Lui" (Ludwig's Church), to the train station. Lui is right in the pedestrian zone. Starbucks is on the corner. Wide, specially marked red bike paths lead in all directions. 😎

The unique feature of the Protestant church in Crumstadt is that it was commissioned by Landgrave Georg and completed in 1593. Other Protestant churches were mostly built later. From the outside, the building's two superimposed rows of windows and its symmetrical floor plan, created by the apparent double choir, are striking.
