Rehnaer Mühlenteichを浚渫しようとする試みが完全に失敗してから、すでに20年近くが経過しました。2007年1月、「キリル」という名のハリケーンは、掘削機を沈めただけでなく、プロジェクトを今後数年間凍結させました。19年後、Mühlenteichは浚渫され、その上に桟橋が建設されました。 桟橋の訪問者からは、陸側にあるはずの手すりが欠けているとの苦情がありました。しかし、Martin Reininghausにはその説明があります。「この桟橋は公式には、MühlenteichをRadegastの流れから分離するシートパイル壁にある2つの40センチメートルの仕切りへのサービス用桟橋にすぎません。これにより、水がMühlenteichに流れ込み、Radegastがその流速を維持できるようになります。」

Quiet side road, but cycle path is not recommended

Quiet secondary road. Easy to drive.

Start your coastal trip with a short ferry ride across the Trave River, the beginning of a wonderful day. Regardless of which option you choose—the Priwall ferry or the passenger ferry—the view of the Trave riverbanks to the left and right from both ferry connections is wonderful and, for some, an absolutely beautiful moment.

Travemünde offers three promenades where you can take a long stroll. Enjoy fantastic views of the beautiful beach, the Bay of Lübeck and the shipping traffic: sailing ships cruise on the waves of the Baltic Sea, ferries and cruise ships leisurely make their way into the harbor under the glittering sun.
