Pleasant off road (but tarmaced) cut through from Streetly to Sutton Coldfield..

Sutton Park good place to ride your bike safely no traffic to worry about. Off the path riding Mountain or other bikes that's ideal for rough ground, roots and uneven surface. Racer bike better off staying on the path.

This is an awfully steep hill and a total nightmare if it's muddy. Recommended, for those who like a challenge.

This bench in Netherseal is extremely comfortable and in a pretty location, perfect for a quick 10mins to recharge the loins.

The first church was built here in about 700AD. Then the Normans built the first cathedral soon after the invasion of 1066. This was then rebuilt in a gothic style in 1340. The building has been besieged several times during the English Civil War it suffered great damaged but was mended soon after the war finished. The cathedral was then restored again in the 19th century to roughly what you see today. It's the only English medieval cathedral with three spires. The cathedral is normally open to visitors from 10:00 - 17:00 on Mon to Sat and 12:00 - 17:00 on Sundays.

While you can't directly access the site, you can't really miss the aerial. The Sutton Coldfield transmitting station opened in 1949, bringing BBC TV to viewers outside of the south-east of England for the first time. The mast stands at a mighty 270.5 metres (887 ft) and is one of the most powerful transmitters in England, powered at 200 kilowatts ERP for digital television and 250 kW for FM radio. It's really quite an impressive tower and its signal covers a range from Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire to Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, with relay stations extending its reach even further.
