Nickern Castle in Dresden. Information: Dated 1693 (castle (manor)). Corner tower (the latter in Baroque Revival style). One of the oldest buildings in the city of Dresden, significant in terms of architectural and local history. Several rooms can be rented for private events.

Röhrsdorf Castle. Information: A castle, originally a manor house, situated on a plateau at 238 meters above sea level. The estate was built as a manor house in the 16th century and was first documented in 1436 or 1583. Today, the castle serves as the residence of an artists' collective and is used for exhibitions and events.

Baron von Finck, 89, who had become disabled after a fall, sold the castle to the Austrian-Czech entrepreneur Jan David Horsky in April 2009 due to age and illness. On March 30, 2019, interested citizens from Bannewitz and the surrounding area founded the "Friends of Nöthnitz Castle Association." Jan David Horsky Jr. had the lower facade of the castle courtyard painted white and the doors and windows refurbished in 2022. In July 2024, the Bundestag's Budget Committee approved a grant of €345,000 for Nöthnitz Castle from the special monument protection program. This funding will be used to renovate a wall of the north wing and the roof of the south wing. As part of this project, roof extensions from the 1950s will also be removed and the historic roof structure restored. However, there is still much to be done here, and leasing has already begun.

Some rooms of the castle will be renovated and used as a museum and event venue with a rich cultural life. Viktor von Finck sold the castle to the Austrian-Czech entrepreneur Jan David Horsky in 2009. The current owner, Jan David Horsky Jr., and the association "Freunde Schloss Nöthnitz", founded in 2019, want to turn the castle into a cultural meeting place again.
