Another beautiful view on the Milseburg premium hiking trail.

The Stellberg is a 727.4 m above sea level mountain in the Rhön Mountains in Hesse (Germany). It rises east of Wolferts, a district of Dipperz, and south of Kleinsassen, a district of Hofbieber. Neighboring mountains are the Maulkuppe to the south and the Milseburg to the east, from which it is separated by the valley of the upper Bieber River. Naturally, the Stellberg belongs to the Milseburger Kuppenrhön (Milseburg Kuppenrhön). Its lower slopes are partially forested. Here are also meadows belonging to the farms Vorderstellberg on the northwest side, Hinterstellberg on the east side, and Giegenberg to the south. The wooded summit area is a nature reserve with several scree slopes. The area is accessible to tourists via hiking trails run by the Rhön Club. From the summit, above a scree slope, the view extends far to the west, as far as the Vogelsberg Mountains and, on clear days, even to the Taunus Mountains. Feasible climb for everyone. The Milseburg should not be missed.
