Just like the Nidda cycle path, the cycle paths along the rivers should be standard on the Wetter to Laubach and the Usa to Saalburg with places where you can linger or with signs pointing to beer gardens, cafés and restaurants that can be reached by bike.

Unlike the Nidda, the Nidder still flows in its original bed and has not been straightened. During the annual floods, it overflows its banks. Between Altenstadt, Nidderau, and Schöneck, it then forms a large lake district.
