On the stretch from Otterndorf to Osterbruch, the Hadelner Kanal or ELBE - WESER Schifffahrtsweg is a very well-developed cycle path, but the first stretch up to the federal highway 73 can also be used by motor vehicles. Nice little city center with a beautiful market square, pretty houses and some restaurants to stop off at. Unfortunately everything was closed in winter.
