Old Town Hall and Market The Old Town Hall lives up to its name, as its foundation stone was laid in 1556. Since 1909 it has served as the city's history museum. The ballroom in the building is 43 meters long and was previously used for festivities of the Saxon sovereigns, patrician weddings, artisan festivals and student balls.
