The Protestant village church of Schenkenberg is a neo-baroque hall church. The original building was built in 1685 and was a branch church of Baumgarten. On September 11, 1898, there was a fire on the neighboring estate for unknown reasons. Due to strong winds, the fire spread to the adjacent farm buildings and ultimately to the church. In April 1900, work began on the reconstruction in the neo-baroque style. They were carried out quickly, so that the topping-out ceremony took place at Pentecost on June 6, 1900. The new church consecration was celebrated on November 7, 1900. [...] The choir is three-sided and not recessed. The walls are covered with a light, smooth plaster, while the corners are made of ashlar plaster. In each of the three fields there is a narrow, segmental arch-shaped window with a wedge stone. The shape of the windows is further emphasized by bezels that match the color of the ashlar plaster. At the transition to the slate-covered roof there is a surrounding haunch. The nave has a rectangular floor plan and is comparatively simple. There are three tall rectangular windows on the north and south walls, which reflect the shape of the choir windows. Under the middle window there is a suggested or former gate, also with emphasized bezels and wedge stone. Without more detailed examinations, no statement can be made about the function of the panels. However, it is possible and conceivable that these could have been the original entrances to the building from the 17th century. The Protestant, listed village church Grünow (near Prenzlau) is located in Grünow, a municipality in the Uckermark district of Brandenburg. The church belongs to the Drense parish in the Uckermark parish of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. The stone church was built in the second half of the 13th century. It consists of a nave and a church tower the same width as the nave in the west. After the damage suffered during World War II, it was restored until 1959. On the west side of the church tower is the portal with an ogival cladding. Above it sits an ox-eye with a cladding made of bricks. In the 19th century, the lancet windows in the long walls were extended downwards in brick and the gable in the east was renewed. The interior is covered with a wooden beam ceiling. A winter church was separated under the gallery in the west. The organ with six registers on a manual and pedal was built in 1961 by Karl Gerbig using parts of the previous organ from the first half of the 18th century.
