The Frisco Historic Park & Museum features a collection of preserved buildings and artifacts, including 11 original structures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These include the 1902 Schoolhouse Museum, a log chapel, a jail, a trapper's cabin, and several historic homes, as well as Native American items and mining-era relics. Admission to both the park and the museum is free.

Camp Hale sits at 9,238 feet in elevation and was once the training facility for the Tenth Mountain Division of the U.S. Army. During WWII the soldiers there trained in mountain climbing, alpine skiing, and cold weather survival. It is now a national monument.

Here you will find the trailhead for the Sheep Creek Trail. Fall showcases vibrant colors on this single track amid abundant aspen groves. Plan around three hours for the 13-mile loop. Note, early summer might bring overgrowth and fewer hikers, offering a quieter experience.

Berry Creek Trail is a combination of singletrack and doubletrack. The overall descent is steep and fast with a few technical sections of loose baby head rocks. The views are pretty good as you look across the valley toward Beaver Creek Ski Resort.
