The dining car is worth a stop. Not only the view, but also the offer was very good, delicious snacks for the little hunger in between, definitely try the delicious 😋 pancakes.

The 34.8-kilometer circular route around both lakes near Markkleeberg is a great experience. Although the path was well frequented, you can still find a place to rest and enjoy nature.

A nice little snack bar for a quick snack with an excellent view. There are delicious pancakes in many unusual creations, coffee and various drinks. Just stop by on your next tour ☺️. It is particularly worth mentioning that the snack bar is open even when the weather is not so good, which can make some tours even more enjoyable when it rains. It doesn't matter whether you just watch or bravely join one of the rafting adventures on offer: the Markkleeberg whitewater park is awesome! The facility was planned for Leipzig's bid for the 2012 Olympic Games. It is one of the most modern whitewater facilities with competition and training courses. Rafting trips, whitewater and surfing courses are offered. If you are experienced, you can also train on your own in the facility. Great view and delicious food, unfortunately only a few opportunities to sit.
