Beautiful view of the lake and observation tower.

The promenade invites you to linger with a beautiful view of Lake Krakow.

No matter which direction you arrive in Krakow am See, the observation tower on Jörnberg welcomes you. The observation platform of the now 28-meter-tall tower is located almost 100 meters above sea level. Visitors who climb the tower's 126 steps are rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of Krakow's glittering lake labyrinth. After the first wooden observation tower was built on the same site in 1897, a new reinforced concrete structure followed. The Bismarck Tower, erected in 1907, was made of reinforced concrete by a Rostock company. It reached a height of 13.40 meters up to the observation platform. For many years, this tower served as a center of attraction for Krakow's citizens and visitors. It was later demolished as a result of the war. Small interesting river with history

The Nebeldurchbruchtal valley is highly recommended. The paths lead through moorland, along streams, and sometimes cross them in adventurous ways (a wooden walkway with only a single handrail). Unspoilt nature awaits, before Lake Krakow opens up with its less crowded bays and shoreline paths.

Goldberg was granted town charter in 1248. It is a regular town layout, dominated by three main streets but without a market square. The church, the town hall, and the former watermill are particularly worth seeing. The church was built around 1300. The interior has a flat roof. During the Thirty Years' War, the church was destroyed except for its surrounding walls, but was rebuilt in 1650. The gallery dates from 1782, and the altar screen is in the Gothic Revival style.
