Coming from Hegenscheid, just before Stuken, there is a bench where you can rest, from which you have a beautiful view over the valley in front of you and the Elfenfohren inn

Hegenscheid airfield is a small sports airfield located on the border between Altena and Iserlohn. In summer you can regularly observe smaller sports aircraft and gliders here. The excursion restaurant “Windsack” up here is unfortunately currently closed (as of December 30, 2023).

From here you have a beautiful view of the Elfenforen inn. A detour there is always worth it! Food there is very tasty!

Here you will find a really nice gravel road on the Kohlberg. With a view of the wind turbines, you can really accelerate up here on slightly sloping gravel. But please watch out for walkers!
